Lead management is the process of collecting leads from all channels (Zalo, Facebook, website, events) in one place, classifying them, assigning them to the person in charge, following up on time, and nurturing them until they are closed - not letting any leads fall. Falling leads means losing advertising money and losing potential customers. Zenify records that the cost of acquiring new customers is 5-25 times higher than retaining old customers (approved).

TL;DR
- Lead management = collect, classify, assign work, follow-up, nurture.
- Collect from all channels in one place — don't leave leads scattered.
- Contact within 24-48 hours — the faster, the easier it is to close.
- Hot/cold classification to prioritize effort.
- Lead that hasn't been purchased yet → nurture, don't throw away.

What is lead management?

Lead management includes the following loop:

Lead collection: every channel brings leads to one place.

Classification: hot/cold, industry, demand.

Assign work: assign to the right person (see Lead allocation).

Follow-up: contact on time, record results.

Nurture: Leads that have not yet purchased are still gently nurtured periodically.

Why is it necessary to collect leads in one place?

Customers text Zalo, comment on Facebook, fill out website forms, meet at events → if each channel has its own place, leads will fall and no one will see it.

There is no collection place → no sorting, no assignment, no follow-up prompts.

The leads you "raised" are waiting — while finding new customers costs 5-25 times more.

Collect into a single CRM = no leads will flow (see What is CRM).

Lead management steps

1. Multi-channel lead collection

Channel | How to collect

Zalo | OA integration — messages automatically into CRM (see CRM Zalo)

Facebook | Comment/form on Fanpage

Website | Contact form, popup

Call | Notes from calls

Events | Enter participation list

2. Lead classification

Hot: Asking price, clear need, want to buy soon.

Warm: interested, inquiring.

Cool: just checking the price, no need yet.

Label the industry and source — to take care of it properly.

3. Assign tasks and follow-up

Hot leads delivered immediately, contact within 24-48 hours (as soon as possible).

Record the results of each contact — don't "remember it in your head".

4. Nurture cold leads

Send useful documents and regular emails/Zalo gently.

Don't force them - nurture them, wait for them to be ready.

Common lead management mistakes

Lead scattered on each channel: not collected → dropped silently.

Slow contact: wait a few days to call → customer has bought elsewhere.

Not classified: Treating cold leads like it's hot → wasting effort in the wrong place.

No follow-up recorded: history is lost, the customer must retell it.

Throwing away unpurchased leads: losing potential future customers - finding new customers costs 5-25 times more.
